Responsive host team, but an unfortunate experience upon arrival The service managing this Airbnb was very responsive, and the location seemed ideal when I arrived around 6:30 PM. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to actually stay at the property due to an issue with the lock. The door code worked, but the handle itself was locked, so I couldn’t get inside. While the team overseeing the property stayed in communication with me, they weren’t able to reach anyone who could resolve the issue on-site. After waiting 30–45 minutes, I was ultimately told I needed to cancel the reservation. Although the property may be great, I didn’t get to experience it myself, and the situation left me feeling unsafe and unsure about the check-in reliability. Advice for future guests: If something like this happens to you, do NOT cancel the reservation yourself. Partner directly with Airbnb Support, who can properly step in and assist. Canceling on your own can make things more complicated. I’m hopeful this
Great place and location! Would recommend for a short stay!
The host confirmed the booking and collected payment for 1 guest and 2 pets. Then they immediately messaged me to claim that I needed to pay an additional fee for the 2nd pet. After checkout, they tried to collect an additional cleaning fee for pet hair, claiming that it required beyond the normal cleaning services. We're talking a few stray pieces of hair on surfaces that you'd expect to be cleaned anyways -- which makes me question if they're cleaning between stays and how well. Do not book here. These are dishonest people.
